When we first bought Slip Away, we knew we had some work to do to get her ready for our voyage.  We thought we had a pretty good idea of what needed to be done, but as we got into it, our "To-Do" list grew and grew.  Some work was absolutely necessary from a safety standpoint (e.g. rewiring).  Other projects were added as things broke (e.g. refrigeration).  And still others were just things we wanted to do or ideas we got from other boat owners (e.g. stripping and refinishing the interior wood).   

As we've spent the past 16 years sailing around the world, we've worked hard to keep Slip Away in tip-top shape.  Here are some of the bigger projects we've completed:
